Define coverage precisely
Put start/end times, locations, second-shooter coverage, travel, overtime and key events in the contract. A vague promise of “full-day coverage” can mean different things.
Understand deliverables
Ask for estimated gallery size, editing style, delivery timeline, download resolution, album terms and what happens to RAW files. Confirm whether previews are guaranteed.
Clarify usage rights
Copyright and personal-use licences vary. If privacy matters, ask whether the photographer can publish images on portfolios, social media, blogs or award submissions.
Source discipline
Open the current official source before committing money. XMarry separates source facts, independent editorial criteria and user reviews; pricing, inventory, venue packages and travel conditions can change.
Original XMarry editorial guidance based on public official sources and decision criteria. It does not claim hands-on use unless explicitly stated.
Initial seed content has no paid ranking. A future operator must label sponsored placement or affiliate links clearly and keep them separate from editorial criteria.
